Driving instructors are well paid.

Most ADI’s are charging between £35 to £50 per hour depending on the area.After expenses are deducted a full time ADI (35-40 hours per week) will earn £40,000 per year, and a part time instructor (16-20 hours per week) will earn £20,000 per year.

Different pupils, different experiences.

No two days are the same. You’ll be directing your pupils around different roads with varying traffic conditions and continually encountering different scenarios. If you enjoy meeting different people and having all kinds of conversations then you’ll love the job. Variety is the spice of life!
